Founder Rob Cornilles has been training executives – from entry-level to seasoned veterans – for nearly 25 years in the industry’s most user- and client-friendly sales methods. While most of the 35,000 executives trained by Game Face were employed at the time, others were looking for a launch pad to a better job. By attending the Academy, job-seekers and career-switchers have gotten a remarkable leg up on the competition, and almost all have parlayed their Game Face training to fruitful jobs in sports, media, professional services, numerous startups and more.
By attending the Sales Academy, you’ll be trained by thought leader Rob Cornilles, the most prolific trainer in the sports industry worldwide. You’ll spend up to 24 hours with Rob, learning the same principles and practices he has given such notable sports brands as the Golden State Warriors, Denver Broncos, New York Mets and Chicago Bulls. Billion dollar corporations – Northwestern Mutual, Comcast and ESCO Corporation, just to name a few – have also turned to Rob for sales guidance.

The Sales Academy offers substantive, best-in-class content in an engaging and dynamic setting. (No stuffy lectures or fill-in-the-blank workbooks here.) Game Face has proven with more than 300 professional organizations that adult learning and retention is most effective through live interaction and practice. Our unique workshop environment gives participants real-time feedback that immediately leads to new skills.
Rigorous course material is taken from Game Face’s proprietary “Seven Skills to a Successful Sale” and includes other Game Face principles like the Revenue Tree and Result-Centered Selling.
The Sales Academy uses today's intriguing sports world as the laboratory for discussion and sales demonstration. However, Academy attendees will be taught a transferrable, industry-agnostic sales approach that can be applied to any work situation or pursuit.

For those interested in a sports sales career, Academy organizers, including Mr. Cornilles, may choose to introduce successful participants to select professional and collegiate teams from Game Face’s network of clients. Introductions could be made by phone, email, or face-to-face meetings. Since 2000, Game Face has assisted in placing about 500 sports professionals following their Academy training.
Note: Placement is not guaranteed following completion of the Game Face Sales Academy, nor is it a part of enrollment in the Academy. All attendees acknowledge placement assistance is under the sole discretion of Game Face, Incorporated.
Note: Individuals wanting placement assistance in sports or non-sports positions may choose to engage Game Face’s placement services following the successful completion of the Sales Academy. There is no obligation for attendees to do so.
At the conclusion of the formal, multi-day Sales Academy, all enrollees who have successfully completed the training will be given an opportunity to meet with select local companies in a speed-dating style event, hosted by Game Face, Inc. Participating Utah companies may or may not have immediate job openings. Nevertheless, the informal introductions are intended to begin a dialogue between Game Face-trained attendees and organizations looking for professionally trained candidates. Visiting companies are under no obligation to interview or hire specific candidates – during or after the Academy – though candidates may indicate successful completion of the Game Face Sales Academy on their resumes and during subsequent job interviews.

To ensure maximum interaction with industry-leading sales coach Rob Cornilles, Sales Academy capacity has been limited. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, please send a resume or bio, along with a brief explanation (no more than 250 words) of why you are an excellent candidate to receive Game Face training and potentially meet our clients and visiting companies, to: Academy@gamefaceinc.com.
All applicants will be informed of Game Face's decision to admit or not admit them into the Sales Academy via phone and email within three (3) business days of receipt of their application. Payment instructions will be provided to those accepted.
